francosmallFranco Taddeo is said to be the Comedy Soprano.
Franco is a true Montreal Favorite who headlines both the ComedyNest  and ComedyWorks.
Comedy is a necessity more than a choice for one of the city’s most popular and acclaimed stand-ups. Years of not being brave enough to get on stage lead to a wealth of material before ever performing.
This time allowed for Franco Taddeo to mold a defined character on stage as he is now a defined man off.
While happily toiling away at comedy, Franco got his first big break on the "Joe Avati: Live & Big Tour".  3 months and 18 cities later he had been introduced to the country and the continent as a new comedic force and has never looked back.
In the years that succeeded Festivals, Television specials and endless Benefits have followed and helped to cement Franco as the comic who is able to reach out to the outsider in all of us. Franco connects with all audiences through humor that is, like our lives, multifaceted, complex and sometimes just surreal. His humor is empowering while being damn entertaining.
Franco performs nationwide and has appeared on both CTV and CBC. During summer 2011, he embarks on a 26 show 6 cities Canadian Tour and eagerly looks forward to his Montreal return this September at Place des Arts!

Derek Seguin Dereksmall

A seasoned standup comedian, Derek Seguin has traveled across Canada to numerous comedy clubs and festivals catering to both French and English audiences.  His televised appearances include performances at the CBC Winnipeg and Halifax festivals, “En Route Vers Mon Premier Gala” as well as the Just for Laughs Comedy Special, “Oh Canada!” and he has appeared on CBC Radio’s, “The Debaters” no less than a dozen times.  More recently, Derek can be seen in the upcoming premiere television season of CBC television program “The Debaters”.

Whether he’s ragging on politics or describing life with his children, he brings us into his perspective without preaching any selfish point of view… he’s simply fun to watch and listen to.

The quintessential performer, Derek is a stand-up comedian, actor, host, narrator, voice actor and most importantly, father of 3 beautiful children… and all this, in both English and French (especially the “père” part).

freddiesmallFreddie James

Freddie always liked being the classroom clown and if you asked him, he would say it was only to get the girls attention. He soon had to admit to himself that he loved making people laugh. He finally found himself at one of the local comedy clubs such as the late Spectrum, Kola Note or Club Soda during their open mic night trying to see if he had what it takes to make people he didn't know laugh. His first time was amazing and he got bit by the comedy bug. His need for perfection led him to work hard on his craft and to fulfill his dream of performing for large crowds. He got his wish granted when he performed at the Montreal Just for Laughs comedy festival.

Appraised by local media in the Montreal Gazette or on Global TV, Freddie’s take on relationship, race and sex earned him the nickname “Bad Boy”. He has had the pleasure of performing for all walks of life and venues around the country including the Nubian Disciples Comedy Show of Richard Pryor in Toronto and the Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club franchise in Ottawa.  Definitely known as the “Bad Boy” of comedy, he loves the title and 10 yrs in the business has not made him lose his love to continue proving his nickname is well deserved.

Scott Faulconbridgescottsmall He began his career as a member of one of Canada’s most popular and acclaimed improv troup On the Spot a two-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee for Best Improv Troupe. Scott then honed his unique improvisational stage presence with a quirky observational style in an act that has headlined in Las Vegas and toured all over the UK where the BBC's Thomas Paine called him “a great international act”.

Scott has appeared on NBC's 'Last Comic Standing', CTV's 'Comedy Now' and CBC's 'Comics'. He has also performed at the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs Festival over a dozen times as both a stand up and an improviser and has made recent appearances at both the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and the Halifax Comedy Festival.  Scott has toured Canada several times, most notably as a part of the Lipton Just For Laughs Comedy Tour in 2004, as well as the Investors Group Comedy Tour in 2006 and recently was the opening act for Howie Mandel at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.

Scott's first self produced DVD entitled 'Nice Shoes' which was released in March of 2011. He has also appeared in numerous films, most notably Disney's 'The Greatest Game Ever Played' where he played Billy the Caddy.  Sadly, in real life, Scott has a terrible left hand slice that terrorizes golfers in adjoining fairways.

Scott Faulconbridge was nominated for a 2009 Canadian Comedy Award as Best Male Stand up. Hilarious story telling about his family life mishaps and a quick improvisational wit have led critics to claim that he is “among the best stand-up comedians on the continent”.  It has also earned him regular appearances on CBC radio’s wildly popular 'The Debater’s' where he goes head to head with the best comedy minds in Canada.  Scott has also appeared in the premiere season of CBC TV's 'The Debater's'.
